I have always been about the music. I grew up singing in the school choir, show choir, and I also played the violin for a number of years. I have always categorized events in my life to what was on my playlists. Colorado in the summer of 2004 was the Mr. Deeds soundtrack (I recommend that soundtrack to anyone). Sophmore year in high school was plagued with The Killers. The list goes on and on… The most current event in my life is the birth of my son, who will be three months old on June 30th. Time flies when you have a bouncing baby boy around. Anyway, the main group I have been listening to has been Tenth Avenue North. This group is a newer Christian rock band.

So I have been trying to come up with something to do with this blog to make it more appealing to a larger crowd. I know I have the most interesting life out there and that sho?uld be enough to draw large crowds right? Who am I kidding?! I’m a pretty normal guy so I don’t have have rediculous stories to bring new readers.

Having a one-month old baby at home almost always results in some sleepless nights. Unfortunately my wife Kaely has had longer nights than myself. I have had some late nights, but no where near my beautiful wife has had. For some reason Noah goes to sleep easier for me than her and its really starting to wear down on Kaely.

I have always been a family oriented person. Growing up, I was the stereotypical “Momma’s boy” with my hip always attached to my mother’s. In high school, since I was an only child, I brought my friends into my family, taking them to family outings and family vacations, then in more recent years, I have watched and helped raise my wife’s little sister. With the birth of my son Noah, I have felt a whole new level of being a “family man”.

As most of you know, my son was born almost four weeks ago, I cannot believe how fast time flies! Anyway, I thought I would do less talking and more showing in this post. All these photographs were done by my cousin at Sanders Photography & Design.
