There are prophets scattered throughout the Bible, and with them there was their prophecies on the birth of Jesus Christ. There were well over 300 facts that had to be proven in one person to show that he was the Messiah. Pretty tall order for one man to fill, however, all of these were filled by Jesus. A book that Josh McDowell wrote titled The New Evidence That Demands a Verdict goes into more detail on the prophecies of Jesus. Now, I am not a big gambling man, nor should I be, but lets look at the odds of these prophecies actually coming true.

I am currently reading a new book on my Sony eReader 300 that is a bible study. It’s one that I just started yesterday and I thought I would maybe start posting occasionally some of the readings it suggests and some of the questions it asks. It asks to write down your own answers to the questions it asks so I may even though some of my thoughts out there as well, but that all depends on how confident I am feeling.
